Association of Food and Vegetable Producers in Romania

"OIPA" stands for "Interprofessional Organizations for Agri-food Products." The main purpose of OIPA is to represent and support the interests of all actors within that specific product chain, including producers, processors, distributors, and traders. OIPA plays a significant role in promoting and supporting the development of the respective agri-food sector, establishing and maintaining quality standards, facilitating research and innovation, and ensuring better coordination of the supply chain and efficient functioning of the market.

EFFoST

The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) facilitates knowledge and technology exchange among food professionals. EFFoST creates opportunities for food scientist, engineers, technologists, policymakers and businesses in food and food-related areas to connect and collaborate with the objective to enhance the uptake of new technologies and developments. By supporting the further development of food science and technology, EFFoST aims to advance the production of sustainable and healthy food for all in a changing world.

Euro-coop

Euro Coop represents and upholds the structure and ethics of consumer co-operative enterprises at European level. Our Secretariat achieves this mission, in particular, by its participation in different fora such as the Stakeholders Platform of the European Food Safety Authority "EFSA", various Advisory Groups, Working Groups, and Platforms within the European Commission, the European Retail Forum for Sustainability, the European Consumer Consultative Group "ECCG", among others.

European Innovation Partnership for Agriculture  (EIP-AGRI)

The agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI) works to foster competitive and sustainable farming and forestry that 'achieves more and better from less'. It contributes to ensuring a steady supply of food, feed and biomaterials, developing its work in harmony with the essential natural resources on which farming depends.

Fit4Food2030

FIT4FOOD2030 supports the development and implementation of the European Commission’s (EC) FOOD 2030 policy framework – to find solutions to the challenges facing our food systems. This transformation is needed to future-proof the European food systems: to make them more sustainable and resilient, and to find solutions for the many food-related challenges Europe is facing, including hunger, malnutrition, obesity, climate change, scarce resources, and waste.

The Community of Practice (CoP) on "Short Food Supply Chains" (SFSC CoP) encounters researchers, policy representatives and civil society actors that share a common interest and a practice in close(er) relationships between consumers and food supply chain actors.

Hungry EcoCities: Open Call for Agri-Food End-Users

Hungry EcoCities envisions a future where resources are used responsibly for food production and consumption. Recognizing the failures of the current system to provide nutritious food universally, the project initiates small-scale experiments to explore new perspectives, concepts, and technological solutions. We invite Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) active in the food chain with an interest in enhancing their products, services, or production processes to submit an application in this Open Call. The Open Call for End-Users will select up to 10 SMEs from the agri-food sector that will work on AI-enabled use scenario prototypes and awareness-raising artworks that:

• make the food chain more transparent, inclusive, and sustainable
• build connections between different stakeholders in the food chain
• promote more informed and sustainable consumption patterns
• The selected SMEs will be joined by Artists in the next stages of this Open Call to form teams that will address the challenges posed by the End-users throughout the support program, known as Paths to Progress Experiments (PPEs).
